Harcourts Foundation - Our Charity 2024

Last year during Race Across America, each rider from Team NZBLUE had a direct link to the charity of their choice.

Overall, we had 5 charities to raise money for. This year we have decided to shake it up a little and solely support the Harcourts Foundation which in turn supports other charities.

To introduce, The Harcourts Foundation is the charitable arm of Harcourts that continues to support our communities in New Zealand and beyond.

Since its launch in 2008, the Harcourts Foundation has raised in excess of $8m.  Community groups and crisis funds have benefitted from the Harcourts network generosity.

Most notably, in January 2017 off the back of the devastating November 2016 earthquakes, Harcourts Foundation gave $62,600 directly to the people of Kaikoura Coast to ease the stress surrounding the expensive time of sending their children back to school and in March 2019, a donation was made in response to the shocking shootings in two Christchurch mosques, through the Harcourts Foundation. $25,000 was pledged to the Give-A-Little page set up for the victim support of the atrocity.

Harcourts Foundation proudly supports Hospice's across New Zealand through the Hospice Grants Programme for the seventh year.  We are incredibly proud for the longstanding partnership between the Harcourts Foundation and Te Kahu Pairuri o Aotearoa – Hospice New Zealand. Since our partnership began, The Harcourts Foundation has donated over $350,000 to local hospices through sponsoring the Hospice NZ Grants Programme. 

In November 2023 we continued our support of Gumboot Friday and through the generosity of the Harcourts network throughout New Zealand, $155,884.89 was raised to support Kiwi kids access to 1039 free counselling sessions.
